Accommodations
We recommend staying in one of the two main areas: La Barra/Manantiales or Punta del Este (both are conveniently located within a short drive of each other). La Barra and Manantiales, where the wedding will take place, offer a more relaxed, bohemian atmosphere with excellent restaurants, boutiques, and shops. Punta del Este has a more urban feel, with a greater concentration of hotels, resorts, casinos, and commercial activity.
As Carnaval is considered peak season, we recommend booking your accommodations well in advance. In addition to the hotels recommended on our website, we also encourage you to consider vacation rentals, such as Airbnb, which can be an excellent alternative.

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP?
We would love to know your plans as soon as possible! The official RSVP deadline is November 8, 2026.
HOW SHOULD I GET THERE?
The two nearest airports are Punta del Este Airport (PDP) and Montevideo Airport (MVD). PDP is the closest airport to our wedding location and offers seasonal direct flights from select destinations during the summer months. MVD is typically the easiest option for international arrivals and is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Punta del Este. For guests traveling from the U.S., we generally recommend connecting through Miami or Panama City.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
The Welcome Party dress code is Beach Cocktail, and the Wedding dress code is Formal (floor-length gowns for women and suits & tie for men are recommended). February is summertime in Uruguay, so temperatures can be warm during the day and cooler in the evening. Since the celebration will include both indoor and outdoor spaces, we recommend block heels or wedges for added comfort.
HOW SHOULD I GET AROUND?
Renting a car offers the most flexibility for exploring the area's restaurants, beaches, and nightlife. That said, Uber and taxis are widely available throughout Punta del Este, La Barra, and Manantiales and are a convenient option for most visitors.
